Susan Jeanelle Rasmussen was born May 17th, 1945 in Redmond, OR to Morgan Sharp and Ruth (Moore). Her mother Ruth later married Herman Fahner in 1954 and Susan was adopted by Herman. She grew up with four brothers: Charles Sharp, H. Lee Fahner, Ronald Fahner, and Richard Fahner.
After attending and graduating from Western Oregon University, she became an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles, CA and Menlo Park where she ultimately retired from David Douglas School District. She was a long time, active member of the Damascus Community Church.
She is survived by her brothers H. Lee Fahner and Ronald Fahner. She is preceded in death by her husband Darrell Rasmussen, parents Herman and Ruth Fahner, and brothers Charles Sharp and Richard Fahner.
A memorial service will be held at the Damascus Community Church on September 17th, 2022 at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Damascus Christian School in honor of Susan.
