Longtime Gresham resident Robert H (Bob) Reed died peacefully on March 24, 2018 surrounded by loved ones.
Bob was born in Grosse Pointe, MI to Howard and Dorothy Reed and grew up in Bay Village, OH. His work in insurance and finance brought him to Oregon in 1978. An avid athlete, he tried out for the Cleveland Indians and that passion for sports continued throughout his life and is carried on by his grandsons. He enjoyed family, golf, vacations and dabbling in stocks.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill of Smithfield, VA. He is survived by his brother, Al of St. Claire Shores, MI, his wife of 59 years, Lynn; daughters, Kathy Brittain (Mark), Kristen Branson (Doug); grandsons Nick, Morgan (and his wife, Mindy), Reed, Owen and Parker; great-granddaughter Alyssia and soon to be born twin great-grandsons.
