Frederick Thompson

Frederick Edwards Thompson, Jr. was 68 years old when he passed away. He was born on January 20th, 1954 and passed on March 6th 2022. Fred lived in Eugene, Oregon with his wife Kathleen Thompson and their cat Vader.

Fred was born and raised in Warwick, Rhode Island with his siblings Barbara and John. He has lived in many states all over the country including Illinois, New Mexico, California and Nevada. Fred started off working as a cook at Gus's in Rhode Island and later transitioned to construction until he retired in Eugene, Oregon. Fred was always blunt and straight to the point when it came to anything. He loved deep sea fishing and on Sundays spent time with family barbequing, watching football, NASCAR and having a beer in his favorite glass.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen of 45 years, his children Heather, Kate and Kyle, his grandsons Jaxxon and Logan, granddaughters Mckayla and Kayleigh, his sister Barbara, brother in-law Mark and nephews Eric and Brad. He joins his Father Frederick Sr., Mother Gayle, Brother John, and Nephew Johnny in a place of everlasting peace.

Fred's final wishes were to have his family and friends gathered together to scatter his ashes in the Pacific Ocean in Trinidad, California. His Ashes will be scattered on Saturday July 16th and the Celebration of life will be held on Sunday July 17th in Trinidad, California at the Emerald Forest Cabins.
